Tom and his wife Linda have always enjoyed being very involved in community service. They have participated in several service activities including some of the following:
- Big Brother for Big Brothers/Big Sisters; Voted “Big” Couple of the Year
- Participate in various plays with Stageworks Theatre; All Proceeds Are Donated for Local Charities
- Rotary – Tom was awarded a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship to study political science and law for a year at the University of Grenoble, France in 1980-81.
Tom has been a member of the Rotary Club of Ybor City and has participated in numerous community activities; Tom served as Rotary President in 2018
- Feeding Tampa Bay – Tom and Linda have been involved in many charitable activities to feed the homeless
- Trinity Care – Tom and Linda have been very active and serve to help fee the homeless
